Hi, I am an Australian guy travelling to India in a week. To prepare, I bought some INR from a currency exchange and mostly gave me 500 INR notes. I have been reading some conflicting information online about to 500 INR note. I know that this note is apart of the new series but I have been reading some conflicting information online. So, what’s the deal with the 500 INR note and can I use this including the other notes to buy anything when I am over there?
