
The movie itself was alright, some funny bits, but not thaaaaat funny.
But kudos where due.
Bholi Punjaban’s South African sidekicks were amusing characters in their own right, with fleshed out dialogue and motives, not rando extras picked up from the sidewalk with no clue about what they were signing up for.
The South African sister character was also framed as an attractive and desirable beauty.
I expected positive black representation in India to come from an indie art film, not from a lowest-common-denominator comedy.
So yeah. Good stuff.
