I lost my OnePlus 6T nearly an year back and also wrote a complaint on CEIR website.
Today I received the below message from CEIR.
Dear Mobile User, the traceability data in respect of your lost/stolen mobile phone having IMEI number *************** requested for blocking vide reference number 20220815***** dated 2022-08-15 23:11:02 with CEIR/ State Police, has been received by CEIR system. The same has been provided to the police station with which the complaint was registered.- CEIR, DoT
What does the above message mean?
I visited my nearest police station where I lodged an fir and I was told someone tried to fidget around the imei no due to which I have received the message the they don’t know about the location yet.
If anyone is having the same experience please guide me.
