I say this because in no way was Azad ever injured so badly in the film that he had to put on his own disguise just to recover from the injuries.
I think the makers wanted to intentionally trick us into thinking that SRK only had one role in the film and that he will go on deadly missions fighting gangsters or something while getting guidance from his workers probably because they didn’t want anyone figuring out the plot of the film a whole year before it’s release which in my opinion is a very smart move.
Due to the teaser, I expected the plot to be just like that where he goes on deadly missions getting injured throughout the film, eventually leading to the climax being him covered in bandages like a mummy and finally defeating the main villain. Maybe the very first draft of the film that Atlee presented ShahRukh Sir was like that which he ultimately rejected until Atlee rewrote it the entire script but who knows…
I feel like the final version of the film was done far better than what I originally expected/imagined due to SRK having two different roles. One being an old massy father and the other being a young mastermind son.
