Is there any percentage specified by NSE/BSE/SEBI for margin rates in Futures & Options in which the brokers have to adhere to?And if yes what are the rates? For eg: a broker in its T&C says as per it’s RMS Policy, the margin rate for F&O is 75% if it is volatile. Is that legal? Also is Value at Risk Margin Rates applicable for F&O or only on equity stocks.
