as it says, birth certificates will be a single document to be used for admission to educational institutions, applications for driving licences, government jobs, passports or Aadhaar, voter enrolment, registration of marriage etc etc..
I(22) don’t have a birth certificate, never needed one. at this moment I have Aadhar, PAN, voter and the usual school certificates. (planning to have a passport soon)
since my dad got to know about it he is pushing me to do some research on this. and as I read on the internet it’s not clear to me what is the case here.
an article in ‘The Hindu’ said “This is for all births that are gonna take place after the bill is passed”
”The provisions of the bill will be applicable to persons born after the bill comes into effect ” said perplexity
so, can anyone please explain do I really need to have a birth certificate? I’m from a rural area and imagining the process I have to go through for this making me sick tbh!!
