Do y’all think that he can act? I’m not a fan at all. I’ve been catching up on old Hindi films since I now have the time. I watched an old Rajesh Khanna movie Chalta Purza with Rakesh Roshan as second lead and he’s so bad in it. The movie isn’t horrible but I can see why it flopped. The little girl can’t act and though RK and Parveen Babi have chemistry, the script didn’t flesh out love story arc properly, the comedy is annoying and didn’t add to the story. Kakaji tried so hard to be like Big B. with the ridiculous action scenes. He even tried to get in shape for the movie too. Awwww!!!
Anyhoo, Rakesh didn’t stand out at all in the movie and wasn’t even attractive in his prime at all. I’m glad that he decided to go behind the scenes and do directing/producing instead. Can anyone provide more insight on his early acting career? How did he get into acting given his mediocre looks and talent?
